Dave Alcock: Senior Lecturer in Sport Psychology, University of West of England (Bristol UWE). Dave is Sport Psychologist for the Warrington Wolves Super League team. Over the last ten years he has worked in a range of elite sports (international pistol shooting, iron man, rowing). He has a Masters in Counselling and Supervision, is a registered Children’s Nurse, a registered Learning Disabilities nurse. The first 20 years of his working life were spent in the Health Service working with challenging behaviours, individuals with superimposed psychiatric conditions, and with clients in a counselling setting.

SP @Sporting Chance Clinic working with addiction and lifestyle problems. Background in psychotherapy and systemic family therapy and detailed knowledge of severe mental health problems and their treatment.
Dr Barry Cripps B.Ed. (Hons), PhD., C. Psychol.,(Occ.), FellowBPS. M.B.S.E.C.H., FRSA. Barry's first career in physical education and sport changed as the result of his doctorate in psychology. He has made use of this qualification becoming an Olympic Sport Psychologist and a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. Working from his home in Dartington, Devon, Barry is concerned with the psychology of performance of individuals, teams and organisations. He is Senior Verifier, Level A Testing and serves on the DOP Committee as a joint convenor of the Training & Development Working Group. He supervises post-graduates and Practitioners in Training in sport and exercise and occupational psychology and is Chair of the Division of Sport & Exercise Psychology.
